terminal input/output problem

I have bought me an c25/c35 cabel shown in the tweakers topic routerhacking part deux.

I've modified my edimax Br-6104kp with it and looks nicely.

But, when i use HyperTerminal i can see the routers output, but can't give it a command.

wires are white, red and blue connected to 1, 7 and 8. ( like said in the topic)
settings com1 11520 8 no 1 hardware ansi

is my cable not ok or is it software.

Re: terminal input/output problem

Hi pabilo and welcome to the forum smile

I would tip on the cable.....if you can see the output then your almost there.
Check the connection to the pin nr. 1

Re: terminal input/output problem

Take a look at this http://forum.amilda.org/viewtopic.php?pid=450#p450

I used a mouse cable with my circuit....maybe you need to check the connection between pins 7-8 and 4-6.

I'll have to update the schematic  big_smile
